angryCoder.com has a unique system for advertising campaigns that is based on monthly sponsorships. If you'd like to take advantage of the introductory prices below, you must contact us as soon as possible! You can lock in a rate now that will not increase as long as you maintain an active campaign. As the site's popularity ramps back up, so will the rates for new advertisers, so act now!
There are four sponsorship advertising options:
Text Links – These will be located in the top right corner of each page of the site and will be placed in rotation. The cost is $100 per rotation slot per month. The more rotation slots you purchase, the more frequently your text links will be displayed.
Banners – There is a large banner at the top of each page of the site, as well as a skyscraper banner along the left side of each page of the site. Each banner rotation slot is $200 per month and includes a banner placement in both locations on the page. The more rotation slots you purchase, the more frequently your banners will be displayed.
Article Insertion Ads – These ads are available in either text or banner form and appear after the first paragraph of Featured Articles and Editor's Picks articles, directly in-line with the article text. While these ads don’t appear on every page on the site, they are in a highly visible location in the articles that we will be promoting the most vigorously. Each of these ad rotation slots is $200 per month. The more rotation slots you purchase, the more frequently your ads will be displayed.
Newsletter Text Ads – angryCoder sends out an HTML-based newsletter entitled “speak your mind” to 5,000+ email addresses a couple of times per week. Each newsletter has two advertisements in it; One above the Featured Article link and one below it (just before the listing of Editor's Picks). The cost for the top advertisement slot is $75 per newsletter. The cost for the secondary advertisement slot is $50 per newsletter. Click here to see an example of the newsletter.
